storyteller / creative Project Leader

I am a creative thinker, natural-born storyteller and strategic communicator. In two decades of experience on three continents — in the fields of exhibition design, public sector communications, political science, and magazine publishing — I have developed a unique ability to transform complex ideas into compelling messages and stories that are expressed in powerful experiences. My experience combines the development of scientific, cultural and communication projects with meaningful storytelling, and an holistic perspective that would attract a diverse public in different parts of the word.

Since 2016, I work independently as a museum advisor and as creative leader. I collaborate with museums, cultural and art organizations, and exhibition and media design studios from around the world in the creation and development of new experiences, exhibitions and programs. Some projects include: the new Shanghai Planetarium, the new Latino Gallery at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington DC, the Museu de Demá in Barcelona, the new Museum of Portuguese Language in São Paulo, among others.

In each project, I start researching and developing content to build a strong ideas and narrative, then conceive and visualize experiences that would best express those stories, to finally detail and oversee all aspects of a project during production. I enjoy collaborating with diverse multidisciplinary teams, thinking and working in multiple languages and in projects from different corners of the world. My work strives to inspire the senses and open minds with clear meaning, strong simplicity and honest beauty.

In 2010, I founded and led ORB, a content and experience design studio based in Brooklyn, where we primarily conceived and developed the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Prior to ORB, I worked for nine years as content and media director for international exhibitions at Ralph Appelbaum Associates in New York. And even before that, I was Coordinator for Exhibitions and Festivals at the Universal Forum of Cultures in Barcelona and in the communication departments of the World Bank in Washington, D.C. and the European Commission in Brussels. I have collaborated in the programming of public events for different foundations in Europe and Latin America and was the founder and editor of “Agora” and “La Política”, two social science journals for Latin America and Spain. I hold a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires and an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).

I am fluent in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, have lived in different European countries for 5 years, and have made New York my home over twenty years ago. I am based in New York. I love to travel to get to know hidden and local spots in different cities from around the world. I am deeply moved by the intricate complexity and beauty of nature.
